With over 20 years of experience, Diana Martins Pereira, PA-C, is a highly skilled and compassionate healthcare professional dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health through a holistic approach.

Diana’s passion for medicine started with clinical research. Initially focusing on breast cancer at Staten Island University Hospital and later at NY Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center, she actively contributed to successful research projects, publishing papers and presenting abstracts. Eager to directly impact patients, she transitioned to breast surgical oncology, where she honed her clinical skills and developed a deep understanding of patient care alongside physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.

Always seeking to enhance her patient connections, Diana earned National Board Certification as a Positive Psychology Health and Wellness Coach. This allows her to address patients’ well-being beyond traditional medicine, fostering meaningful and profound relationships.

Diana’s passion for holistic well-being extends beyond her profession. A certified Ashtanga-based Vinyasa yoga instructor, she shares her knowledge and love for movement by teaching weekly classes in her community.

A proud daughter of Portuguese immigrants, Diana is fluent in both English and Portuguese and values her heritage, frequently visiting her parents’ homeland. She resides in Mineola, Long Island, with her husband, Paul, their children, Andrew, Sofia, and Ana, and their beloved dog, Torri.
