• 1/2 cup quinoa
  • 1 cup chicken stock or water
  • 1/2 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 – 2 tbsp olive oil or grapeseed oil

Rinse the quinoa in cold water 3 times, drain and set aside.
Sauté onion and garlic in Olive oil or Grape seed oil. You may add any vegetables that you would like. When ingredients cooked well, add 1 cup chicken stock and bring to a boil. Add the quinoa and cook for 10-15 minutes, until quinoa has absorbed the water and you can see the white germ ring.
Serve with your favorite protein dish.
